Chief Information Security Officer

As the Chief Information Security Officer, you will play a critical, hands-on role in implementing, coordinating and enhancing the security & quality measures within Customs4trade. You will be responsible for safeguarding sensitive data, implementing robust security protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to any incident or threat.
• Develop and improve our security & quality strategy, in line with organisational goals and industry best practices.
• Regularly report on the current state and progress of security & quality to senior management.
• Improve and extend upon our certifications ISO 27001 & 9001 and develop strategies around future certifications.
• Organise regular audits and security testing to identify weaknesses and recommend appropriate remedies.
• Identify and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities and develop mitigation solutions.
• Monitor and support customer related processes.
• Create incident reports and monitor & assist in the resolution of incidents.
• Maintain and improve ISMS & QMS and the included policies, procedures and registers.
• Monitor and investigate automated security alerts.
• Coordinate contacts with external IT & Security partners.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest information security trends, technologies, and regulations, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Organise security and quality training programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security & quality is embedded throughout the company and all processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, business administration or another technology-related field required. 
• We are open for you to work fulltime, parttime or 80%.
• +5y of experience as a Chief Information Security Officer or in a similar senior-level information security role.
• In-depth knowledge of information security concepts, protocols, and technologies.
• Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as GDPR and ISO 27001 & 9001.
• Experience in developing and implementing information security strategies and policies.
• Ability to manage cross team contacts.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
