The Opportunity

OpenText is seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager (CSR/CSM) to join our Webroot MSP Renewals Sales team. This team is responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue targets through customer retention, proactive outreach and management of all assigned Webroot accounts in assigned territory. Solution focus being Webroot Endpoint, DNS, Security Awareness training in addition to the Zix/AppRiver portfolio providing resilience for our customers in terms of security, data protection and Microsoft, in a world where businesses are seeing an increase in attacks and challenges. We call this Cyber Resilience. The goal of this team is to ensure our customers reach their data protection and sales goals, and key performance targets are met and exceeded.  

 

As a CSM, you will be responsible for a renewals campaign, including cross sell and/or up sell all Webroot accounts assigned in the territory into larger subscriptions. You will become an expert on all Webroot/Appriver products and will work closely with an assigned Solutions Engineers to tell the cyber resilience story and deliver the value proposition to our customers driving incremental Account Contract Value(ACV) with renewal and upsell subscriptions. You’ll play a key role in establishing the value proposition of Webroot and AppRiver total protection portfolio to our current Webroot MSP customer base.

 

You will also work closely with the strategic sales team to identify potential large opportunities during the renewal process. This is a dynamic role representing the Webroot and AppRiver products on the front line and requiring strategic thinking, strong sales acumen and a willingness to support the broader Sales teams in achieving and exceeding sales goals. This role requires self-motivation, high energy and a results-oriented mindset. You Are Great At

  • Achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Helping customers progress through our renewal and sales process.
  • Working effectively in a team setting with CSAs, SEs, etc.
  • Building and nurturing top-down, key relationships within target accounts
  • Maintaining high levels of activity and productivity in a highly autonomous, mostly virtual work environment
  • Showing resourcefulness in working with cross-functional teams
  • Resolving disputes and understanding contractual language

 

 

What It Takes

  • 2+ years of sales/account management experience, preferably in the SaaS industry
  • Track record of proven success in achieving renewals/sales targets and driving account growth
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing pipelines, lead generation, business plan execution, and renewals with channel partners.
  • Must be able to understand and articulate Webroot and AppRiver value propositions – tell the cyber resiliency story
  • Must be able to conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Knowledge of cyber security, endpoint, and/or backup protection

 

For California, Colorado Washington state, and New York City residents, this job is expected to pay a minimum of $80,000 USD in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan.  Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
