Your responsibilities:

 

  • Plan, Audit, organize and manage the work of unionized employees;
  • Ensure that staff members comply with policies, administrative procedures, safety rules, collective agreements and government regulations;
  • Audit Road employees on security safety and ATM procedures (night services)
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and staff to establish and implement policies, procedures and objectives;
  • Promote safe work practices, by conducting safety audits, participating in company safety meetings, and meeting one-on-one with staff members;
  • Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets;
  • Conduct on road investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints;
  • Collaborate with internal or external stakeholders to determine the causes of accidents that occur during transport and improve safety procedures;
  • Participate in the disciplinary process or the settlement of grievances;
  • All other related tasks.

Your profile:

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in secure transportation road operations.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Possession of a firearm licence
  • Very good leadership, negotiation, and judgment skills.
  • Strong focus on teamwork and partnership.
  • Sense of urgency, exceptional communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Critical thinking and active listening developed.
  • Process oriented.
