POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and ensuring organizational compliance with industry standards and regulations?  We are seeking an Entry-Level Cybersecurity Compliance Documentation Assistant to join our team and support our efforts in maintaining, documenting and supporting our cybersecurity practices.

 

JOB SCOPE

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and documentation necessary for cybersecurity compliance.
  • Review and update existing cybersecurity documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize and reconcile compliance documentation from across the enterprise.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of existing cybersecurity controls and associated documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and gather evidence supporting the implementation and effectiveness of these controls.
  • Maintaining accurate records of compliance evidence, including tracking changes and updates over time.
  • Assisting in the development of evidence collection and automation procedures and framing templates to streamline process and improve efficiency.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field – or have equivalent working experience in a technical or legal environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and principles is preferred but not required.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Jobs will generally be performed in an office environment but may require travel to visit company offices and/or property locations.
  • While performing duties of this job, would occasionally require to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects and tools.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
