Job Description

We're in search of a System Analyst with a solid background in IT Operations. This role is pivotal in providing support for our HR Technology applications. The perfect candidate would be adept at technical troubleshooting, possess excellent analytical skills, and be a creative problem solver.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Part of the Operations team, helping to develop an IT Configuration management methodology.
Manage patching for servers (OS and Middleware updates)
Vulnerability Management (Qualys) - Remediation Planning & Scheduling & Execution 
Vendor Management
ATCs are responsible for working with issue owners and relevant teams to address audit issues relating to the systems and applications they own
ATCs are responsible for attesting that all data privacy requirements are captured and up to date in the Data Privacy Tool
Carry out tasks as per IAM policies and procedures
Work with vendors and the Operational Resiliency team to complete service impact assessments and define recovery metrics for applications
Collaborate with the CMDB team to enhance data integrity
Maintain CIs to ensure CMDB accuracy. Monitor unauthorized CI changes
Report on noncompliance situations
Work with Infrastructure teams to understand new requirements
Administer the tool for configuration and asset management

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Ability to multi-task
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to learn new applications quickly
Proficient in IT Configuration Management processes
Experienced in generating reports, creating configuration items, and conducting Application criticality rating reviews using ServiceNow
Comprehensive knowledge of Business Capabilities, Business Applications, Application Services, Middleware Infrastructure, Service Offerings, etc
Capable of collaborating with customer stakeholders such as Business Application Owners and Infrastructure CI owners
Well-versed with ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, SDLC, Asset, and Change
Capable of effectively managing multiple priorities under pressure
Excellent problem identification, analysis, and resolution skills
Proven ability to quickly absorb, analyze, and understand new information, technologies, and practices
An active listener, customer-focused, relationship builder, and team player
Possess a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to provide recommendations for current and future platforms
