Position Summary

The Information Security Analyst will respond to security support requests as well as identify and make improvements to the operating environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Actively monitor, analyse, evaluate and apply solutions to user support requests relating to Information Security Infrastructure tools including VPN, Firewall, Multi Factor Authentication.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.  Examples may include:
    • Multi-factor authentication issues
    • VPN access issues
    • Firewall blocking access to a web site
  • Provide support for activities delegated from Security Engineering relating to security infrastructure, such as
    • Performing updates to system monitoring tools
    • Applying system updates
  • Consults IT knowledgebase(s), Internet, other team members and any other appropriate resources for the purpose of independent troubleshooting

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide feedback for improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training documentation.
  • Participate in the implementation of special information security projects as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally CS or Cyber Security Program, or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years’ experience in PC, network infrastructure support, or related experience
  • Must be able to learn and understand new technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and follow-through

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export  licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.  As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
