Are you passionate about the impact of cloud computing on Financial Services, with a special focus on security? Do you have a unique combination of broad and deep security knowledge, coupled with business acumen and strong interpersonal skills?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a specialized Security Partner Solutions Architect to work with our largest Financial Services customers. In this vital role, you will help overcome barriers to AWS adoption by identifying and tackling major security, risk, and compliance questions from stakeholders within financial institutions, as well as build and maintain executive-level relationships with policy approvers and owners. You will work directly with customer security, audit, risk and compliance teams to help them understand how to confidently establish cybersecurity controls utilizing key security partners and AWS services.

· 10+ years of experience in an information security, risk, audit or compliance role
· Strong technical experience, and solid understanding of topics including encryption, key management, network security, identity and access management, and data management
· Experience mapping security controls to the specific regulatory obligations of financial services customers
· Experience working in Financial Services organizations; implementing solutions in a regulated environment and knowledge supporting Financial Services related applications
· Excellent presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers.
· Experience performing security reviews for mission critical financial services applications
· Experience as an auditor or risk advisor to Financial Services firms
· Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services
· Application development experience with working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
· Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations and virtual teams.
· Experience in public speaking to large audiences
· History of successfully navigating complex relationships and work in a team environment
· Knowledge and practice of a modern programming language (Python, JavaScript, Go, .Net, Java, etc.) and/or scripting, infrastructure as code etc

Basic Qualifications
· 10+ years of experience in an information security, risk, audit or compliance role
· Strong technical experience, and solid understanding of topics including encryption, key management, network security, identity and access management, and data management
· Experience mapping security controls to the specific regulatory obligations of financial services customers
· Experience working in Financial Services organizations; implementing solutions in a regulated environment and knowledge supporting Financial Services related applications

Preferred Qualifications
· Advanced degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or related discipline· Experience performing security reviews for mission critical financial services applications
· Experience as an auditor or risk advisor to Financial Services firms
