The DoD-Defense Industrial Base Collaborative Information Sharing Environment (DCISE) is the operational hub for DoD's Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Cybersecurity Program, focused on protecting intellectual property and safeguarding DoD content residing on or transiting contractor unclassified networks. DCISE develops and shares actionable threat products, performs cyber analysis and diagnostics, and provides remediation consults for over 1000 Cleared Defense Contractors (CDCs).

• The qualified candidate for this position will be responsible for driving transformative initiatives and lead efforts to looks for solutions that can be delivered as a Cybersecurity-as-a-Service for the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) so they can better protect themselves against the adversary
• Provide management support of multiple pilots and projects under the Expanded Offerings and Projects (XOP) Division  
• Act as the Big Data Platform (BDP) SME for the team, providing briefs and talking points to various government stakeholders
• Provide continuous monitoring and analysis of Cleared Defense Contractor (CDC) perimeter network traffic for malicious activity  
• Provide continuous monitoring and analysis of CDC public-facing infrastructure for threats to potential vulnerabilities
• Stay up to date with the latest cyber vulnerabilities via open source and closed source tools
• Schedule and execute service onboarding calls with CDCs when they sign up for DCISE services
• Conduct Analysis of Alternatives through evaluation of performance, operational effectiveness, operational suitably, and estimated costs of alternative solutions 
• Engage with customers and external stakeholders to effectively address technical considerations and resolve issues related to multiple service and pilot offerings 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• Min 8 years with BS/BA, Min 6 years with MS/MA, Min 3 years with PhD (additional experience may be used in lieu of a degree)
• Expert-level knowledgeable of DoD’s BDP (Big Data Platform)
• Expert-level presentation skills
• Expert-level technical writing skills, which will be utilized to create process documents and presentations
• Expert-level understanding of SIEM tools and firewall applications
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• A minimum of two years of the following experience:
  • Providing infrastructure analysis;
  • Performing analysis of physical and logical digital technologies;
  • Conducting in-depth target and technical analysis;
  • Monitoring network/firewall traffic
  • Using SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk)
• At least one of the following certifications (preferred):
  • Security+
  • CySA+
  • CASP+
  • CEH
  • CISSP

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
