Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with vulnerability management, triage, development, or remediation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Credentials in cyber-security (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent).
  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., Financial Services, US Public Sector, or equivalent).
  • Experience with threat modeling, penetration testing, or offensive security.
  • Knowledge of risk management, control implementations, and defense in concepts.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with Cloud Compute, Cloud Security, and Cloud CISO to drive programs necessary to coordinate platform security capabilities, vulnerability remediation, and customer security capabilities.
  • Engage in the software development life-cycle of Compute to develop Security and Compliance features.
  • Drive engagement in Security and Compliance by building relationships with product teams, security engineers, legal stakeholders, and policy teams.
  • Coordinate strategically across a global team distributed over multiple time zones.
  • Ensure operational processes are consistent, measurable, and automated when possible.
