The KION/Dematic Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Global Software R&D Organization is responsible for delivering innovative software products to support a wide range of intralogistics, material handling, and management solutions. These products play a key role in powering the logistics operations of enterprises in a wide range of industries worldwide including eCommerce activities.

We are looking for a hands-on, dynamic, and enthusiastic Cloud Security Architect to help drive our application security efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and support our security efforts related to the development of various projects in IoT, Intralogistics, Cloud, and Edge systems that aim to transform the warehouse logistics and management industry.

The Cloud Security Architect is an important member of the KION Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Global Software R&D team. This role addresses stakeholder security requirements, necessary to protect the organization’s mission and business processes. The architect will support processes in all aspects of cloud architecture including reference models, solution architectures, and the resulting software solutions.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $94,000-$198,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

  • Ensure that acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with organization's cybersecurity architecture guidelines.

  • Employ secure configuration management processes.

  • Document and address organization's information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements.

  • Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop a security risk management plan.

  • Provide input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation (e.g., system life-cycle support plans, concept of operations, operational procedures, and maintenance training materials).

  • Write detailed functional specifications that document the architecture development process.

  • Document and update as necessary all definition and architecture activities.

  • Determine the protection needs (i.e., security controls) for the information system(s) and network(s) and document appropriately.

  • Develop/integrate cybersecurity designs for systems and networks with multilevel security requirements or requirements for the processing of multiple classification levels of data.

What We are Looking For:

  • 3 to 5 years of strong experience working with GCP, and its native cloud services

  • 10+ years of experience in demonstrating Cybersecurity knowledge.

  • Strong knowledge of security architecture, system, and network security

  • Strong experience and in-depth knowledge of security standards and best practices (OWASP, SANS 25, etc.) as it relates to cloud, web, and mobile applications

  • Experience in analyzing security of cloud-based applications.

  • Ability to read and write one or more common programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Python, including 2+ years of hands-on programming or scriptwriting, including 2+ years of working with cloud applications

Preferred

  • CISSP

  • Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification

  • Google Professional Cloud Architect certification
