About the Role:

As a Security Engineering Intern with Remitly, you will report to Senior Manager, and contribute to a collaborative product team. You will work on meaningful and impactful projects over the course of three months. If you enjoy learning and building software in an agile environment, come join us!

You Are:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related area, preferably with an anticipated graduation date of late 2024 or Spring 2025.
  • Knowledgeable of fundamental data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
  • Familiar with at least one general purpose language (e.g. Python, Go, Java)
  • Familiarity with, or strong willingness to learn AWS, Cloud concepts
  • Interested in a collaborative working environment, where you will learn from experienced security engineers
  • Available for a 12-week paid internship during summer of 2024
  • Able to visit the Krakow office at least 2-3 days a week, to meet with buddies and mentors
  • Communicative in English and Polish

You Will:

  • Learn how engineering teams plan and work on complex projects
  • Learn how security concepts are applied to product development and operations at a fast-growing technology company
  • Gain experience with cloud services such as AWS
  • Gain experience with unit and functional testing
  • Work collaboratively to meet the needs of our customers
