Job Description

IT Security Analyst is responsible for tier1 triage and tier2 incident response for the alerts and detections tagged with Eversana’ s SIEM (Security Incident & Event Management), EDR (End point detection and response), NDR (Network Detection and Response) as well as Email Security solutions. It is desired that candidate has basic knowledge and experience in administrating IT components (systems, networks, or servers) and needs to have good understanding in reading/assessing vulnerability disclosures. Collaborative skills to coordinate and fostering relationship with multiple teams from IT Security Engineering, IT Infrastructure verticals and Applications owners is expected.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management etc.
  • Willingness for working in 24/7 environment through rotational shift or providing off hours on call supports as deemed fit by the management.
  • Providing incident management and response.
  • Assisting leadership in recording IT Security KPI metrics through established channel.
  • Working with various OEMs and IT Security Engineering team to  understand root cause of any problem related to any IT Security monitoring tool and subsequent follow up for resolution that in turn would establish an effective event monitoring program.
  • Willingness to upgrade one’s own knowledge by continuous learning through external as well as internal ( Eversana’ s internal subscribed ) resources .
  • All other duties as assigned by the management.

  • Hours (40 per week, 5 days of the week)

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Requires a BA/BS degree or equivalent education & experience
  • 3 or more years of experience as a SOC Analyst or in an information security/ cybersecurity role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Industry certifications, such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, CEH
  • Prior technology experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and cloud services.

Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $81,000 to $97,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).  EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
