This is delivered as comprehensive reporting and reviews for the client and key decision-makers.

As a central point for escalation, coordination, and communication during times of crisis and acting as a security concierge you will engage with various business functions, ensuring a holistic approach to addressing their needs, expectations, and concerns.

The PSOC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Therefore, you must be flexible to work on weekends, public holidays, and night shifts as required by the shift rota.

  • Respond to any calls from persons needing medical assistance.

  • Provide situational awareness and intelligence reporting of issues occurring at a high level globally, through internet observation, news media reporting, and intergroup communication with other support elements.

  • Assist first responders, and medical and law enforcement personnel as necessary.

  • Ensure that staff, assets, and access points are secured regularly, reporting any hazardous conditions to security management.

  • Follow the client’s escalation procedures to notify security management of any critical incidents, unsafe conditions, or technical failures.

  • Create accurate communications logs by reporting incidents in dedicated case management databases.

  • Utilise geographic information systems to ascertain potential risks and incidents that occur in the vicinity of the client’s assets.

  • Support investigations by utilising data and information available in sensitive security databases.

  • Display creative thinking and consulting skills to deliver a continually improving service for the client.

  • Facilitate the dissemination of information to mobilize the necessary resources to ensure that regional staff can mitigate immediate risks and incidents.

  • Perform any additional duties as required by the client’s Director of Security.

  • Engage and collaborate with other Sibylline teams globally to remain up to date with best practices, resources, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated interest in security policies, best practices, and procedures, with a customer service mindset.

  • Impeccable communication skills, with the ability to take urgent calls from concerned stakeholders with patience and professionalism.

  • Ability to monitor the news, social media, and other information feeds and quickly determine the impact of security events and crises on business operations.

  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to rapidly digest, evaluate and “sift” large quantities of information from a range of sources.

  • Ability to interpret, organise and visualise data.

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to provide thoughtful insight into complex situations.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • High level of competency with MS Office tools.

Preferred

  • University degree in Security Studies, War Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, or related field.
