This role is not just about identifying potential vulnerabilities in the organization’s IT systems; it extends to orchestrating a comprehensive security practice through cooperation with penetration testers, external and internal auditors, system administrators, and development teams.
As a Tribe Security Assurance Analyst, you will play an important role in assessing and fortifying the security landscape within the organization. With a focus on a broad spectrum of cybersecurity fields, this role demands a profound commitment to collaboration with many teams and various stakeholders. Your technical acumen will be the cornerstone of producing top-tier security outcomes, ensuring the highest standards of delivery within the company.
THE CHALLENGE:
As a Tribe Security Assurance Analyst your main tasks will be, but not limited to:
- Assist in building security practices across one of the most important engineering units in the organization
- Enhance security posture across the Engineering unit by implementing security controls based on ISO 27001 standard
- Support the establishment of team goals, priorities, KPIs, operating models, and standards, ensuring clarity among team members regarding program objectives and effective prioritization and execution of deliverables.
- Define security requirements for various engineering projects and supervise their execution.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners to clarify roles, responsibilities, and deliverables, driving impactful work towards mutual goals.
- Work closely with internal and external audits and both internal technical and non-technical teams to foster working relationships and provide precise regulatory and audit responses as requested.
- Assist in providing updates to senior management and leadership, including facilitating escalations, decision support, and the removal of blockers when necessary.
- Share expertise within the wider Information Security teams by supporting necessary training and support initiatives.
- Evaluate and propose methods to streamline risk assessment approaches, improve control testing activities, and enhance control monitoring efforts.
- Implement maturity frameworks across multiple programs, considering emerging regulations and proactive risk detection
YOUR PROFILE:
- 4-5 years of professional experience in security assurance, technology risk assessment, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in conducting various technological audits, including technical verifications as well as ISO 27001 audits
- Demonstrated ability to measure an organization's maturity levels and improve upon them.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, control testing activities, and control monitoring.
- Experience with implementing maturity frameworks and understanding emerging regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Ability to provide insightful feedback to senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and share knowledge with team members.
