Position Overview: As a Cybersecurity Analyst you will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents. You will work closely with our security operations team to detect and mitigate security risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' data and systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cybersecurity professional to further develop their skills and contribute to our mission of protecting organizations from cyber threats.Key Responsibilities:Security Monitoring and Incident Response:Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools to identify potential security incidents.Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine the root cause and recommend appropriate remediation actions.Coordinate incident response activities with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management:Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses.Utilize threat intelligence feeds to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.Security Policy Compliance:Assist in developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).Security Awareness and Training:Provide security awareness training to employees to educate them about cybersecurity risks and best practices.Promote a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.2+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or related role.Security+ (Sec+) certification required; additional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certifications are a plus.Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
