Overview:

We are currently seeking a Security Engineer to join our exceptional security team and contribute to the development of a world-class security program. As a vital member of the team, you will directly report to the CISO and collaborate on the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions aimed at safeguarding our company, employees, and valuable assets from emerging security threats. In this role, you will engage with all facets of our organization, working to mitigate security risks and enhance our overall security posture. Responsibilities

  • Focus on day-to-day security operations for all DV
  • Actively participate in the incident response process for security events, from identification to resolution
  • Proactively monitor, alert, and respond to known and or emerging threats
  • Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities while validating security control health and effectiveness
  • Drive automated security detection, response, and configuration through various scripting and programming languages
  • Define and launch threat hunting campaigns to identify potential security issues
  • Collaborate with other teams to continuously improve security posture of the firm
  • Assist with performing risk assessments, gap analysis, and controls testing for critical areas within the firm
  • Educate users on security best practices and ways to reduce cybersecurity risk
  • Provide detailed reporting and metrics on health and effectiveness of security controls and program

 

Requirements:

  • A passion for security with a great awareness for cybersecurity and hacking trends
  • Prior experience in a technology or cybersecurity role
  • Experience with endpoint detect and response controls
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies and methods to secure each a plus
  • Knowledge of Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and core networking fundamentals a plus
  • Automation experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
