 Job Duties 

  • Participate in cross-functional Network Security Product Management projects, working with various internal functions, including Sales, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, and others. 
  • Understand the Network Security Market, Centralized Management Deployment types, Firewall use cases, and SonicWall management offering (NSM, NSM SaaS, GMS, Analytics, Sonic Platform)
  • Support Migration Strategy driving Network Security customers to Sonic Platform from legacy products
  • Update & Maintain firewall KB:
    • Create an Excel repository highlighting 
      • product and branding changes as needed 
      • screenshot updates
      • replacement KBs required 
      • factual or technical inconsistencies 
      • Update KBs (as per technical ability and product readiness)

Qualifications and Skills 

  • Working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or cybersecurity
  • Ability to work full-time during the summer (12 weeks)
  • Ability to work remotely and manage your own time 
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team 
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage a large number of tasks and responsibilities and meet deadlines 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to maintain information in confidence and exercise good judgment 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Effective, clear, and precise communication skills - written, verbal, and presentations 
  • Ability to act and communicate appropriately in a professional environment 
  • Strong Office suite skills
  • Basic understanding of computer networks, networking, and cybersecurity.
