As an Engineer in the Container Security squad, you'll be helping to take ANZ’s container security services and controls to the next level across multiple containerised platforms. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Working with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver and support container security in the bank.
  • Providing container security protection to workloads on different pipelines, registries, and platforms.
  • Delivering technical analysis activities and deliverables associated with multiple releases.
  • Automating operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python and/or PowerShell.
  • Work with the SOC to fine-tune container runtime policies and with workloads on their workload policies.
  • Scheduling & implementing non-production and production changes.
  • Putting the team’s objectives ahead of individual needs - having the “let’s get stuff done right” attitude.

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have skills, knowledge, and experience in the following:

 

  • Must have 6+ years of experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience working on security services and solutions [must]
  • 2+ years’ experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell and/ or Python, as well as infrastructure as code through Terraform. [must]
  • Use of CI/CD tools, repo/registries such as Codefresh, Github, Artifactory [must]
  • Experience with Kubernetes, preferably a Certified Kubernetes Administrator [must]
  • In depth knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Linux Operating System [must]
  • Well-versed in using the Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence) [must]
  • Ability to work autonomously on tasks with a moderate complexity [must]
  • Experience supporting security incident investigations or identified vulnerabilities remediation.
  • Experience implementing and operating Azure Active Directory
  • Understanding of Active Directory and group policies.
  • Extensive exposure working in agile environments with sound understanding of agile ceremonies – PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospective, Stand-ups.
