This position is responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and monitoring IT governance and compliance processes and controls to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our information systems and data assets. The position may be remote and reports directly to the Director, Identity Governance and Compliance of the company.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of IT governance and compliance processes to identify gaps, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with industry regulations and organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT governance and compliance requirements are integrated into business processes and systems development lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on IT governance and compliance matters, including risk management, control implementation, and incident response.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Access Certification Campaigns for SAP and non-SAP systems (QAD, Active Directory, etc.)
  • Generate reports and metrics to track the effectiveness of IT governance and compliance initiatives and communicate key insights to senior management.

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Education:  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. 

Experience: Proven experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance within a regulated industry or environment.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
