Purpose Statement

To interpret the Cyber Security business plan and be responsible for the day-to-day management of a designated function within Cyber Security to deliver the plan’s objectives and goals. To embed appropriate systems, processes, practices, standards and controls to protect Capitec’s information technology assets

Experience

Minimum/ideal:

• 5+ years’ experience in Information / Cyber Security 
• 3+ years’ experience of leading teams from different IT/Risk/Security/Cyber disciplines.
   

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology - Computer Science or Forensics

  • Logical access control (Tools, methods and best practice requirements)

  • Threat-intelligence | IT Compliance | ISO 27001 / ISF / NIST / PCI (standards) / COBIT
  • Business Analysis | Project Management | Broad technical knowledge of infrastructure and applications
