We’re looking for a Compliance Analyst to support privacy incident response, oversee the state licensing processes, and support general Compliance team functions. You will:·       Proactively manage and complete the nationwide health carrier appointment and agency/agent licensing processes. For this function you will:·      Track and maintain state insurance licenses and ensuring compliance with applicable state laws and regulations.·      Research individual market carriers and requirements, coordinate execution of carrier contracts and requirements, track carrier appointments statuses and maintain information regarding ongoing contractual requirements.·      Support various Gravie teams by serving as the subject matter expert for state licensing and providing support for carrier appointments.·      Assist with research of individual insurance marketplaces nationwide, including the tracking of compliance and training requirements.·       Support healthcare industry compliance reporting, including collecting, scrubbing and submitting data.·       Manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects, including individual and team projects.·       Work with other Compliance team members on the maintenance and day-to-day operations of Gravie’s compliance program and workforce training program. In this function, you will:·       Assist with monitoring and tracking new and emerging regulatory requirements that may impact the business.·      Train to lead day-to-day privacy incident response/triage·      Oversee and tracking delivery of Summary Plan Descriptions and other client deliverables related to regulatory requirements.·       Collaborate with other teams within Gravie to advise on compliance questions and issues that arise in the course of business.·       Maintain cooperative, responsive, respective, and positive relationships with internal teams and external contacts.·       Demonstrate commitment to our core competencies of being authentic, curious, creative, empathetic and outcome oriented. You bring:·       2 years’ experience in the healthcare/benefits/insurance industry·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience, preferably in insurance, healthcare, compliance, legal, or related field·       Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment·       Ability to embrace change with optimism and a problem-solving mentality·       Very strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills·       Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that result in clear and concise language appropriate for the intended audience·       Curiosity about the healthcare industry and the role of regulation in shaping business strategy Extra credit:·       Project management skills/experience·       Government reporting experience related to healthcare and/or benefits·       Paralegal or legal drafting experience, e.g., Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) or other benefit plan documents Competitive pay is standard.
