Job Description

As our key Group Network Security Analyst you will develop and operate the following activities:

• Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid in the identification of network incidents, and support the creation of new architecture, policies, standards, and guidance to address them
• Provide network subscribers with incident response support, including mitigating actions to contain activity and facilitating forensic analysis when necessary
• Conduct network monitoring and intrusion detection analysis using various computer network defence (CND) tools, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, host-based security system (HBSS), etc.
• Correlates network activity across networks to identify trends of unauthorized use
• Review alerts and data from sensors and document formal, technical incident reports
• Test new computers, software, switch hardware and routers before implementation to ensure security

You will also:

• Monitor IQEQ networks, systems and applications for security issues related to network exploitation
• Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents with a focus on network layers
• Operate security software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, SOC and any applicable tools
• Operate and pilot the implementation of security features within our network firmware
• Declare security breaches and assess the damage caused to the Threat Intel team
• Review and validate Firewall request from the Infrastructure team
• Work with the RedTeam to perform tests and uncover vulnerabilities
• Embed a monthly review of our Firewall rules
• Enhance and maintain our current network security standard
• Fix detected network vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
• Stay current on IT security trends and news
• Assist Blue Team Leads while implementing security controls and related firewall ruleset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Experience in information security or related field
• Experience of working in a complex, multi-country professional services, financial services or BPO organization with complex processing requirements
• Multi-country experience and demonstrates an ability to work in a multi-cultural, talented, and demanding team environment.
• Possess the skills and the personality to operate effectively in a very fast-paced complex global business with an in-depth knowledge of program management
• Excellent communication skills in both written and oral form, with staff members, customers, suppliers, and the management team with the ability to make decisions, act and get results

• Personal presence, integrity, and credibility
• Ability to solve problems either independently or by utilizing other members of the team where necessary
• Fully proficient spoken and written English
