We're seeking a Cyber Security Intern to bolster our IT Team. In this role, you'll undergo comprehensive training and engaging discussions to equip you for analyzing, researching, documenting, and orchestrating vulnerability remediation efforts. You'll focus particularly on addressing emerging, high-profile vulnerabilities sourced from threat intelligence feeds and vendor product release notes. You'll then communicate your findings to the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and other key stakeholders, lending support throughout the remediation process. 

CCC has a hybrid/remote work philosophy.  The selected candidate for this position will be working at least one to two days a week in our Danvers, MA headquarters with a targeted start date of June 3, 2024. 

You will work on a variety of projects, including:

• Setting up a vulnerability management tracking process  
• Documenting the lifecycle of vulnerability management remediation  
• Creating a vulnerability management inventory data base  
• Intern will work with and shadow Cyber Security Incident Response Analyst  
• May be accountable for other results and activities as assigned.  

Here’s what it takes to get started:

• Must have completed at least one year of college
• Experience or deep interest in Cyber Security 
• Linux and Windows PowerShell command line knowledge  
• Ability to operate a vulnerability scanning, data analytics technologies, and industry best practices for vulnerability management, risk analysis, and vulnerability remediation plan development with proper training  
• Ability to recognize and perform timely impediment recognition and escalation, including following issues through to completion  
• Ability to present IT security risk to business and technical management effectively
