Information Security Business Analyst

Tenneco is looking for an Information Security Business Analyst to join its growing Information Security team.  This role will report to the Executive Director of Information Security Architecture & Engineering and will focus on ensuring the Information Security team delivers the expected outcomes for IT initiatives.  As a member of the Security team you will be helping us protect our business across 300 global sites.

What will you do:

• Track, prioritize, and coordinate demand within the Information Security team to ensure successful delivery of objectives
• Collaborate with InfoSec and other IT groups to determine functional and non-functional requirements for successful delivery of new or enhanced capabilities, establish and track implementation plans
• Provide regular status updates to InfoSec leadership for in-flight efforts and pending demand
• Participate in design meetings to create and document efficient processes to support new or enhanced capabilities, review existing processes and recommend areas of improvement
• Create options and recommendations for potential improvements and their business cases to facilitate InfoSec and IT leadership decision making
• Support requirements gathering and analysis for service provider selection such as RFIs and RFPs

What you will need to know:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Information Security and Risk Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related major or commensurate experience
• 5+ years’ of working level experience and more than 3 tears experience in a large-scale global IT enterprise environment
• Experience with business analysis, demand management, requirements determination, and process development
• Knowledge of financial accounting concepts such as forecasting, cost savings, cost avoidance, and return on investment
• Ability to understand business objectives and work with technical SMEs to establish technical and non-technical requirements.
• Ability to perform cost analysis to determine cost savings/avoidance opportunities
• Ability to track and coordinate across multiple efforts
• Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure, good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed
