OnsiteThis position is for a Software Engineer with experience developing and maintaining a DevSecOps software factories as well as general software development.

Deliverables for this role include:
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
- Must be able to acquire Customer's Program Clearance to be able to maintain employment
- Integration of existing build and deployment scripts into yaml based pipeline.
- Traceability and integration of requirements verification into test automation framework.
- Automation of Software Build, Delivery and Release flow within the Pipeline
- Working in partnership with the Software Development team and SW Test Teams to deliver end to end CI/CD solutions
- Identifying, recommending and implementing risk mitigation activities to reduce cost, schedule, and technical risks.
- The position involves the adaption and migration of a large complex radar software code base to modern technologies and development tools to realize benefits of DevSecOps/Agile Software Development Methodologies. In addition to the integration of the existing code base into a DevSecOps platform, there will be development of new software functionality/capabilities in order to meet new mission specific requirements.
Basic Requirements include:
- Experience programming in multiple modern programming languages, including Java and C/C++ or similar
- Experience with multiple scripting languages (Python, Groovy, etc.)
- Experience with Grafana and similar dashboard tools
- Clearance and Citizenship Requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of relevant software development experience.
Highly Advanced Requirements include:
- Current U.S. DOD Secret / Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Previous experience developing, integrating, and maintaining test automation frameworks, static analysis, software build, and CI/CD analytics for embedded C++ and Java GUI application software
- Knowledge of Kubernetes Environments
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Customer Program Clearance
- Git, GitLab, Junit, Google Test, Jenkins, Artifactory experience
- Experience working with technically skilled teammates and customers.
- Experience with large complex systems such as airborne radars.

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
