The Role

Are you an experienced Cloud Security Architect looking for an exciting opportunity to shape the future of enterprise applications with Cloud Security? Look no further than Kyndryl, where you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact as you lead the design and development of cutting-edge Cloud Security solutions and applications.    

- Proven knowledge of security best practices for specific cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and     * familiarity with cloud security tools and services offered by relevant platforms.

- Demonstrated hands-on Architecture experience, enabling Cloud Transformation and Modernization journey of enterprise clients. 

- He/She must be proficient in DevSecOps practices, integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle.

-  Must have strong understanding of various web application vulnerabilities like SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and server-side request forgery (SSRF).

- Must have in-depth knowledge of different authentication and authorization mechanisms for secure access control.

-  Must have comprehensive understanding of the shared responsibility model in cloud deployments.

- Must have familiarity with container security and potential vulnerabilities in containerized applications, particularly if relevant to the organization.

- Demonstrated experience in a role of ‘Trusted Advisor’ to clients, providing consultation and advisory services.

- Demonstrated cross-functional collaborative results, in defining the architecture of our offerings to meet our customers’ needs and increase our efficiencies.
- Demonstrated skills around strong business judgement, achieving aggressive business objectives, transforming new ideas & creative solutions from conception through completion and excellent oral & written communication skills.

- Good to have Scripting and Automation Skills:

    * Ability to write basic scripts for automating vulnerability scanning, security configuration management, or other relevant tasks.

    * Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for various security automation tasks.

- Good to have one or more Security Certifications: AWS Certified Security — Specialty Certification/Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate/Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer/ Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)/Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Senior Security Architect’s responsibilities include:

- Lead & Contribute to the Kyndryl Security Solutions – for both Offerings and Client solutions, leveraging deeper understanding of the industry/market trends and new-age customer needs.

- Own and Deliver the Technical Strategy, Architecture and Execution, of one or more Security Offerings and Clients. 

- Develop Security Reference Architecture, for one or more Security Offerings and for Client Security solutions

- Act as Trusted Advisor to our clients, providing consultation and advisory services.

- Articulate Kyndryl Security Offerings and Solutions value-proposition and engage effectively on new opportunities/leads in Infrastructure Security as well as Application Security.

Who You Are

The candidate should have around 10 years of experience in architecting and designing Secured Cloud solutions/applications. He/she should have demonstrated deeper knowledge & expertise, in at least 3 to 4 domains of the outlined Security areas:

    * Data Security:             Encryption, Key Mgmt, Discovery, Classification, HSM, Security Enclaves

    * IAM:                              Privilege Access Mgmt, IDaaS, Governance, Consumer Identity Access

    * Cloud aaS Security:     CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, CASB

    * Network Security:       SASE, Zero Trust, Application Gateway, Next-Gen Firewalls

    * Threat Management:  SIEM and SOAR

    * Application Security:  API Gateways, Container Security, Secure-By-Design, DevSecOps, Application Security Posture
