Position Overview

Far Ridgeline Engagements LLC, a Qinetiq US company, is seeking a Threat Finance Analyst, Mid-Level in Elkridge, MD. The Threat Finance Analyst will use their expertise to analyze program financial data, conduct threat analysis on client financial sytems, practices and procedures, and deliver analytic products and reports related to known or suspected threats to DoD and IC financial systems and data.

Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze, and report on known or potential threats to client financial systems and information
  • Develop, refine, and monitor metrics on areas of financial risk to identify and recommend strategies, tools, and procedures aimed to improve and harden client financial system security
  • Conduct statistical analysis to measure production, performance, and usage of services and products
  • Perform record-keeping functions and conduct visualization and production activities such as visualization requests, product formatting, and dissemination within the relevant finance database
  • Supports development of standards by conducting analysis using existing SOPs and policies
  • Provide input to client policies, processes, and standards related to identifying and mitigating threats to USG financial systems and data
  • Produce briefing and reference materials, conduct briefings, and attend staff-level meetings when requested
  • Create and coordinate budget and acquisition documents; organizing meetings
  • Developing briefings to technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with CI Poly  #qinetiqclearedjob
  • BA/BS in the field of finance or economics
  • 4 years' experience with DoD and military finance operations and analysis
  • Demonstrated creativity, foresight, professionalism, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving financial, business, administrative, or other areas that pose potential or real threats to financial systems and data
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, organizing, forecasting, and maintaining financial budgets, tracking financial data, and programmatic financial audits
  • Knowledge and understanding of DoD policies and regulations related to financial budgets, acquisitions, intra- and inter-agency reimbursements and other financial transfers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in military or Government’s Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE)
  • Experience in preparing and modifying Procurement Requests (PRs) and Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests (MIPRs) using the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) system, Graphical Query Language (GQL), and other Government business processes Assist in the preparation of program plans and quarterly review documentation
  • Experience working with non-DoD Federal Departments and Agencies across the US intelligence community
