Opportunity for National Security Lead for an ASX100 where you will oversee a professional security capability across Viva Energy’s National Operations as you look to continuously improve the security performance of the organisation.

You will be responsible for providing security assurance to meet regulatory compliance obligations inclusive of conducting site security and vulnerability assessments to inform security decision making.

You will enhance a positive security culture by promoting Security awareness across Viva Energy Australia and the various work groups. You will be accountable for maintaining internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes and maintain budgets for physical security operations, inclusive of labour and systems maintenance.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

• Experience providing enterprise wide risk management and risk assessments
• Demonstrated experience in managing national security within a large complex business
• Flexible and curious to changing technologies and industry trends.
• Experience in successfully influencing and leading teams, stakeholders and external contractors
• Highly collaborative
• Applicable Security Licences to provide security advice throughout the business.
• Ability to manage, lead and motivate individuals with security responsibilities.
• A high calibre security professional with 5 + year’s relevant security experience.
• Demonstrated experience of International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code, maritime security plans and Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security Act 2003 and Regulations (MTOFSA) along with understanding of Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SOCI) and required CI-RMP’s
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of producing written reports and security briefs and deliver security briefings to all levels of personnel.
• A motivated individual with high levels of energy, excellent team working skills, a positive attitude, and when required, be prepared to stretch personal and business goals.
