The Analog Devices Federal Security Team seeking a motivated, Security Analyst, Intern to provide support to our Aerospace & Defense Business Unit located at ADI’s Chelmsford, MA location. The Security Analyst will work for ADI’s Federal division, supporting the Facility Security Officer and contributing to the five-person Security team.   An integral part of the team, the Security Analyst will provide employees with educational tools, foreign travel notices, trends on emerging threats, and assistance processing their security clearances.  The ideal candidate will also apply for a security clearance and, if granted, will then possess a hiring requirement for many U.S. Government defense contractors.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Review employee personnel applications
  • Fingerprint applicants using digital imaging technique.
  • Providing or revoking employee access to controlled areas
  • Reviewing security camera footage after an incident

Minimum qualifications

  • Minimum education (2-3 yrs undergrad)
  • Minimum experience - Entry Level
  • High level of personal motivation and initiative to learn and acquire new skills and adapt to an ever-changing security environment.
  • Impeccable ethics and integrity with a willingness to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, time management and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in business software (MS Office – Word, Power Point, Excel, Access)
  • U.S. Citizenship is required to receive and maintain active SECRET security clearance.

Preferred qualifications

  • Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 [National Industrial Security Program]
  • Completion of security -related courses available on the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency website

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export  licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.  As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
