Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) seeks a dynamic and effective Third Party InfoSec Analyst. This job reports directly to the Sr Director, Security Architecture in the Information Security division of PPFA. The Information Security division provides the strategy and implementation of the information security program that safeguards the data entrusted to Planned Parenthood by its patients, supporters, donors and staff.

Purpose

  • The Third Party InfoSec Analyst is responsible for applying, collaborating, and supporting the Third Party Risk Management Program strategic vision in the execution of day-to-day functions as it applies to PPFA and Affiliates. The Third Party Risk Management program ensures that new and existing third parties are assessed and meet established Information Security, Compliance, Operational Risk, and Reporting guidelines.

Delivery

  • The Third Party InfoSec Analyst will deliver through the process management and assessments of third party risk to support the Third Party Assessment Program for PPFA and Affiliates.
  • Evaluate the third party risk management and assessment process for efficiency & efficacy (internal and cross-departmental)
  • Vendor assessment project management support for the National Office and affiliate committees
  • Vendor risk analyses, technology reviews, and regulatory/certification reviews (SOC 2, HITRUST, etc)
  • Coordination and communication with external risk assessment partners
  • Escalation of high-risk items to leadership including the CISO
  • Integration with vendor and contracting processes with PPFA’s Office of General Counsel
  • Third party contract review process and templating
  • Facilitate regular communication concerning third party performance and risk trends to relevant committees, senior management, and executive sponsors.
  • Develop, establish, and report metrics data around third party risk management activities on a regular frequency and/or as needed.
  • Support the work of the Third Party Risk Management program

Engagement

  • The Third Party InfoSec Analyst will engage with cross-departmental PPFA and Affiliate staff.
  • Works with vendors to drive adherence to third party risk management process
  • Works with the Vendor Advisory Committee (VAC) to drive processes and communications
  • Works with Affiliates to identify remediation options
  • Works with vendor assessment providers to ensure deliverables are met and to interpret and communicate assessment results 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in third party risk management, assessment, governance, procurement, information security, risk management, auditing, project management, process improvement, or related experience
  • Basic contract management experience which includes reviewing contracts, understanding basic terms and general contract language.

  • As needed
Salary: $70K

Final offers for this job will be based on capabilities and will be made within the parameters of the PPFA compensation program.
