Why We Need You!

As part of the Information Security Architecture and Risk team, you will lead the execution of multiple functions: Taking ownership of and providing review of third-party access requests, vendor on-boarding requests, and partner on-boarding requests; conducting risk assessments of third parties and suppliers; documenting assessment findings; and supporting the architecture and risk team in other projects.

Critical priorities include: Becoming familiar with Ivanti’s vendor risk management and corporate risk management procedures; familiarizing yourself with the tools Ivanti uses to conduct assessments; integrating with the proactive project-based work the Information Security Architecture and Risk team follows; and supporting necessary compliance activities

You will also use your skills and experience to provide input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation

The primary focus of this position in Information Security is to assist in reducing the overall risk exposure Ivanti faces by conducting risk assessments against third parties and suppliers. Your work will be instrumental in further developing Ivanti’s supplier and third-party risk management program. You will accomplish this with the help of a team of highly skilled analysts and architects. Your performance in this role will be rated on your ability to think critically and independently and work autonomously to complete challenging projects and long-term work. 

You will leverage best-in-class frameworks, tools, and technologies to complete your work. As part of this team, you will collaborate with members of Ivanti’s Privacy, Legal, IT, and Sales and Marketing teams.

You Should be Knowledgeable In:

  • The risk assessment process.
  • Cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Cybersecurity principles used to manage risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information or data.
  • The organization’s core business/mission processes.
  • Information technology supply chain risk management policies, requirements, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an associate degree in information systems or bachelor’s in business with a focus in Econ
  • One to two years of work experience of one year of technical experience
  • Critical thinking, technical writing, self-starter and self-motivated
  • Security+, ISC2 CC, or ITIL Foundations, a plus
