Primarily Remote Cyber Security Analyst (Active US Public Trust or Higher Required)

Due to US Government Contract and regulations. All viable candidates must have an Active US Public Trust Security Clearance or higher. Clearances higher than a Public Trust can be maintained. 
For the first month this role will be 3 days remote and 2 days on-site for onboarding/training. Following that first month, this position will switch to 85% remote and 15% on-site)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security assessments, including vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and risk assessments, to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Analyze security data and alerts from various sources.
• Investigate security incidents and breaches, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation measures to prevent future occurrences.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for signs of unauthorized activity or potential security threats.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and measures to protect against cyber threats.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to improve the security posture of IT systems and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Active US Public Trust Security Clearance or Higher
• 2+ years Cyber Security Experience
• Security+ certification
