The Role

We are looking for an experienced and talented Security Engineer to join The Missing Link Security Engineering Team. The Security Engineer will have vast knowledge within the IT Security industry which includes at least three years hands-on experience as well as knowledge of a range of security products, technologies, and solution offerings. Ideally you will have in depth networking security experience who has a strong security background and is passionate to join our security team taking part and leading security engineering projects.

Requirements

The following (but not limited to) Security Engineer duties are expected to be carried out by the successful candidate:

• Develop and document Detailed Level Design for various security products.
• On-going certification training and renewal as required by the business.
• 2 or more years of experience with FWs (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco etc.)
• Experience with Network Security stack such as WAF, Sandbox, TAP and others
• Experience deploying SD-WAN solutions
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fortinet NSE4, CCNP Sec, Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSE or equivalent – essential
• Zscaler or Bluecoat or similar Web-proxy solution certifications

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have extensive network security products such as Web Proxy, Firewalls etc:

• 3 or more years of experience with NGFWs (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco etc.)
• Experience with SIEM and VM platforms such as Rapid7, Tenable, Splunk & Exabeam
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
