Our Management Consulting division is seeking a top calibre, high performing Senior Consultant to join our Workplace Relations Advisory team. In the current landscape, organisations seeking to transform their workforce, to drive productivity growth and create a sustainable workforce, need new thinking and strategies. Our Workplace Relations Advisory service helps clients’ to navigate these uncertain and disrupted times.

Your opportunity

In your new role you will be responsible for activities including (but not limited to) the following:

  • Supporting the delivery of Workplace Relations Advisory engagements, including current state assessments, stakeholder consultation and communication frameworks, enterprise agreement strategy development, enterprise agreement negotiation planning, campaign planning and future workforce strategy development
  • Working with multi-disciplinary team to lead and support payroll and wage compliance reviews through conducting classification reviews, casual assessments, interpreting industrial instruments and identifying potential vulnerabilities in employment arrangements, governance and systems to assess potential exposure to underpayment of wages.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include: 

  • Experience in Industrial Relations / Human Resources or a relevant area
  • Proven technical capability in at least one of the following:
  • Interpreting industrial instruments (Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards)
  • Developing EA bargaining strategies
  • Workplace Relations / Employee Relations strategy development
  • Union engagement
  • Payroll and wage compliance
  • Have experience delivering client projects in a structured way which delivers tangible, high quality outcomes within constrained timeframes
  • Have strong advisory, business development skills and client relationship skills
  • Hold appropriate qualifications including a degree in a relevant discipline (e.g Law, Business, HR)
