Primary Objective:

  • The security consultant reports to the Regional Director for Southeast Asia and is responsible for assisting the sales, partners and direct distributors generate revenue within an assigned geographic area. Hence, technical enablement and training these both new and existing valued-added resellers (VAR), is the key to many successes.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate training activities, enabling partners and assisting/supporting sales activities for both Thailand and Cambodia market to achieve or exceed assigned revenue.
  • Contact new and existing clients and partners to discuss their needs and how to best utilize the organization's products and services to achieve their intended outcome
  • Create and perform product and solution presentations to match organization's products/services with identified needs
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintaining an understanding of WatchGuard's strategic direction, product roadmap, competitive landscape and interpreting its relevance to the target industries
  • Assisting licensing agreements with distributors, channel partners, MSSP’s, resellers
  • Involved in those significant projects’ discussions, design and contributes ideas in those critical projects.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing and other Lines of Business (LOBs) to maximize the return from the assigned Territory.

Education, Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Degree in computer science preferred, or related field with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years direct and indirect IT industry experience with a strong security background in cyber security preferred but will consider potential candidates with strong attributes with 5 years’ experience.
  • Proven record of technical and product knowledge, with a consistent achievement of assigned objectives and quotas.
  • Positive attitudes with the ability to develop specific plans to ensure partner growth, and company’s growth are critical.
  • Knowledge of networking infrastructure and Internet security industry is an important requirement
  • Understanding of Cloud infrastructure, networks security, end-point business, MFA and wifi technologies are a plus
  • Excellent communication (oral or written) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic sales environment.

Travel

  • Greater than 50% or as required to exceed sales objectives.
