Security Engineer

CloudTalk is a publicly hosted VoIP SaaS which introduces specific security challenges. We are looking for someone who can help keep CloudTalk, and its customers safe. You will be part of the platform as a dedicated security engineer.

What you will do:

• Evaluate security threats in CloudTalk applications, and infrastructure
• Collaborate with platform, and development teams to remove security threats
• Define, and maintain company-wide security processes
• Be point of contact, lead mitigation, and investigation in case of security incidents
• Defining security tooling
• Ensure that security best practices are being followed
• You will be CloudTalk’s ambassador for security, providing knowledge about the best practices
• Overseeing the thread modeling for CloudTalk applications
• Lead pentesting activities
• Providing security reports on regular basis
• Be stakeholder for security of new architectures, and designs
  
  

What we are looking for:

• Experience with security in the cloud
• Experience with security of PHP, golang, NodeJS
• Experience with different sets of security tools (IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, antivirus, patching, etc.)
• Knowledge of scripting/programming languages
• Someone who is always up to date with the latest security threats, and trends
• Experience with VoIP security is a plus
• Experience with Kubernetes security is a plus
• Experience with pentesting is a plus
• Good communication is a must
• Great team player
