DevSecOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to assist us in building functional systems that improve developers’ and customers’ experience, for Thessaloniki’s or Athens’ office or to work fully remotely.

The DevSecOps Engineer's responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet internal and customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position, we’d like to meet you.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

• Maintain and develop our CI/CD pipelines and automated processes;
• Maintain and administer our CI/CD infrastructure;
• Design and implement containerized microservice architectures hosted on Kubernetes environments, both on-premise and on the Cloud;
• Ensure the smooth operation of the deployed applications and services;
• Ensure compliance with security and industry standards;
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues with infrastructure and applications, with an emphasis on performance optimization;
• Work closely with development teams to facilitate DevSecOps processes;
• Provide support and troubleshoot problems related to the applicative infrastructure and configuration;
• Maintain a team-oriented mindset.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science or related;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a DevSecOps position;
• Strong background in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud services, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the AWS and/or Azure ecosystem;
• Experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing Amazon EKS clusters and/or Azure AKS;
• Experience in Linux systems and Shell scripting;
• Experience with two or more of Jenkins, SonarQube, Dependency Track, ArgoCD, Grafana and/or JMeter;
• Affinity to software tools and quality assurance;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as AWS CloudFormation/CDK is a plus;
• German knowledge is an asset.
