Gridlock is looking for a new team member -- a full-time Cryptographic Engineer to develop complex security systems and ensure that all sensitive data is well protected.

This is an exciting and dynamic role where you will be instrumental in helping Gridlock grow by implementing changes rapidly and identifying areas of improvement.

More specifically, within this role you will:

  • Support and build upon existing elliptic curve protocols
  • Build and maintain Rust crypto repositories
  • Maintain rust binaries and work with app team to incorporate binaries inside end user applications

You will also review the current business solutions, perform high-level reviews of current processes and provide your input and alterations, as needed.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Excellent knowledge of math and a high-level mathematics degree
  • At least 1 year of experience with Rust Programming Language

Brownie points for:

  • Cryptography experience, specifically with ECDSA and EdDSA elliptic curves
  • Familiarity with distributed systems
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • AWS experience
