Senior product role responsible for providing technical leadership and direction regarding information security and cyber security solutions offered to Rackspace customers. In collaboration with Product Management, create and implement product strategy and roadmap based on evaluation of current gaps, customer requests, market innovations, technology readiness and supportability.  Design and execute technology evaluations and selections to meet market, customer and business requirements. Provide subject-matter expertise to a diverse group of stakeholders including Sales, Support, Engineering, Marketing and IT.  Works largely unsupervised as a contributing member of a team. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Key Responsibilities:·       Provides review and creative technical vision for improving existing products and for launching new products. ·       Provides strategic direction and strongly influences the direction of the product line. ·       Provides technical domain expertise for Security product line across, network, compute, application and data security use cases. ·       Performs hands-on, design, and prototype services. ·       Provides technical solution design in collaboration with engineering, support, and technical sales.·       Utilizes knowledge of managed services, private and hybrid cloud deployments and business requirements of a managed services providers as major factors contributing to  technology evaluations and solutions designs.  Knowledge:·       Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to provide value input on a global scale. ·       Must also be very pragmatic and help drive and clarify what is needed today. ·       Have good judgment and the right personality to earn the respect of product management, engineering and support teams·       Ability to present architecture and highly technical products to senior leaders or customers, as needed. ·       Ability to influence others both internally and in the external technical community. ·       Understanding of both the technical and business aspects of the role. ·       Excellent verbal and written communications skills. ·       Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. ·       Ability to work and promote inclusiveness in team settings. Education:·       High school diploma or equivalent required. ·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering Experience:·       A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in information or cyber security technologies working as an Architect or similar role required.   The following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado.  The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is $126,000 –$166,000.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. Information on benefits offered is here. #LI-RD1, #LI-Remote
