If this sparks your interest, apply today and chat with our friendly Recruitment team.Your future teamOur Security Intelligence team is comprised of people with backgrounds in Threat Detection, Incident Response, Automation and Logging.We're hiring a Security Intelligence Manager, reporting to the Security Incident Response Lead. Here, you'll manage and mentor analysts in our security team while they keep a careful eye over the our corporate environment and Atlassian cloud services, investigating for signs of compromise. More than that, you'll work with them to help build new systems, develop automation and crush security problems you care about.

What you'll do

  • Manage analysts on the security intelligence team
  • Take on ownership of large deliverables and complex problems, and clearly break up the work into smaller tasks to be carried out with the rest of the team.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with experience of developing and instilling a culture of broad product ownership and operational maturity.
  • Strive toward improvement, question the way things are, and be a driver of change.
  • Not be afraid to get your hands dirty and contribute to technical support and your team's project delivery.
  • Enjoy mentoring and teaching members of the team

Your background

  • 3+ years experience working in security
  • Relevant work experience in Security Incident Response and Management
  • Have directly managed teams of 3+ people at a previous role
  • Experience building and delivering projects from start to finish
  • Experienced with cross-team collaboration and strong interpersonal skills

It's great, but not required, if you have:

  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud service platform
  • Experience with malware analysis
  • Experience with threat hunting and threat modelling
  • Contributions to the security community or open source projects
  • Data analytics experience
