This is a broad domain with global responsibilities, involves leading and modern technology practices and allows for both setting the strategy and working with a small team to implement and operationalise it. Requirements
The Role You’ll Play
Lead and work collaboratively with tech teams and wider business units to design, develop and implement our security roadmap to protect and mitigate against an evolving threat landscape, comply with expected security and privacy capabilities & enable Prezzee to become a market leader among its peers from an information security and privacy perspective. This would include external product evaluation and implementation and vendor commercials and management.
Conduct security and risk capability maturity analysis and vulnerability analysis, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions to address them. These may overlap various cyber security domains.
Work with vendors and customers to ensure risk and security frameworks and controls are understood and risks are managed appropriately from all parties
Lead and actively review any security events or incidents in accordance with best practice incident management processes.
Be the company security champion and help raise security awareness within the company.
Certain Skills and Attributes are Important, Like…
Experience leading and motivating a small team of security or risk professionals
A Computer Science or Software Engineering degree.
Min 5 years of experience working as a senior cyber security professional & within a Systems Development environment
Understanding and exposure to AWS technologies and architecture models.
Extensive experience participating in a strategic security program involving Policy creation; Technology risk management; BCP and DR test coordination; 3rd party risk management; End-user device security.
Experience triaging, investigating, and resolving security and operational incidents within SLAs
Knowledge of advanced cyber security concepts and principles.
Knowledge of the latest cyber security threats, threat intel sources, and remediation methodologies with a focus on end-user threats.
Experience coordinating the delivery of outcomes with support from internal and external teams/consultancies.
Possess the ability to rapidly solve technical and complex problems
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to collaboratively work across all levels of the organisation (both technical and non-technical) to prioritise security and its associated risks.
Manage ambiguity and complexity in a cross-functional/hybrid environment.
