The Senior Information Assurance Security Specialist will support, advise, and assist with CDS Risk Management Framework (RMF) and develop a plan of action and milestones for resolving deficiencies in accordance with DODI 8510.01.  
Essential Duties & Qualifications:·         Assess network compliance against controls listed in DODI 8500.2 and creating CDS A&A packages·         Perform assessments, compliance, and validation of CDS to support the Cybersecurity program at USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces·         Execute a comprehensive assessment, compliance, and validation of customer networks to ensure compliance with regulations, security, and standards with an end goal of ensuring the integrity of customer systems by identifying and mitigating potential shortcomings and vulnerabilities·         Advise USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces on CDS risks, risk mitigation courses of action, and operational·         Provide dedicated, on-site support for CDS systems·         Analyze, evaluate, and build an accreditation roadmap for new SIE CDS·         Develop and maintain supporting documentation for new cross domain systems, and technologies as they are introduced into the SIE·         Maintain, track, and validate CDS approval packages, including those from USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and other subordinate organizations·         Perform risk and vulnerability assessments of CDS for accreditation; prepare risk assessment reports as the Security Controls Assessor (SCA) for submission to the Certification Authority (CA) and Authorizing Official/Designated Accrediting Authority (AO/DAA) in accordance with DoD, DIA, USCYBERCOM, USSOCOM, Component Command, TSOC, and deployed forces' policies, procedures, and regulations·         Validate the patching of CDS, perform validation scanning, develop Plans of Action & Milestone (POA&Ms), and report as directed by applicable policies, procedures, and regulations·         Coordinate and provide support for USSOCOM's Cross Domain Security Elements (CDSE) Air Force Cross Domain Management Office (AFCDMO)·         Ensure current CDS systems operate on USSOCOM, Component Command, TSOC, and deployed forces' networks in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations·         Ensure CDS systems maintain certification and authority to operate as they are modified to meet operational requirements·         Provide Cybersecurity and RMF Subject Matter Expertise to the evaluation of current and emerging guard and CDS techniques, technologies, and vulnerabilities. Periodically publish reports documenting this information·         Perform CDS risk and vulnerability assessments for engineered networks and systems on the SIE.·         Ensuring engineering tasks and solutions comply with accreditation, certification, and connection standards for USSOCOM, Component Command, TSOC, and deployed forces' networks and systems·         Engineer and analyze solutions for vulnerability and risk assessment to ensure solutions are in compliance with security standards and measures·         Review, analyze, and documenting the security requirements of CDS across their life cycles·         Attend Defense Security Accreditation Working Group (DSAWG) and Flag Panel meetings to help advocate USSOCOM, Component Command, TSOC, and deployed forces' requirements·         Provide situational awareness of CDS systems in the SIE, including location, capability, network topology and diagrams, missions supported, and other related information·         Periodically publish reports documenting this information.·         Manage and track requests and requirements for CDS systems supported within the SIE; assist with creating, updating, tracking, and managing staff packages for prioritization and approval by the appropriate authorities·         Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:Education:·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Systems Science disciplineLicenses & Certifications:·         Active TS/SCI clearance required·         DOD Information Assurance Technical (IAM) Level 3 certification requiredExperience:·         Required minimum of eight plus (8+) years of relevant progressive experience – or equivalent combination of education and experience·         Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)·         Knowledge of Telos Xacta or eMASS system, desired·         Knowledge and experience with DOD IA processes and policies (e.g., CJCSM 6510.01, incident response and other IA policies)·         Experience with US Combatant Commands (USCENTCOM/USSOCOM) desiredSkills & Abilities:·         Excellent communications skill (written and oral) and interpersonal skills ·         Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks·         Must have the ability to interact with senior leaders within the organization·         Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPointOther:·         All support shall be performed onsite within facilities provided by USSOCOM, its Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces or other Government-provided or designated facilities, unless otherwise agreed upon by the COR and/or the KOThis opportunity offers career development and growth, competitive compensation, and a robust benefits package with 4 Weeks PTO w/ rollover, 11 paid holidays, company paid events and training, and 401(k) retirement plan with company match. FWG holds multiple government contracting vehicles as a Prime Contractor to include: 8(a) Set-Aside; STARS III; GSA IT-70; Army ITES-3S; and CIO-SP3. FWG Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
