Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

Job Description:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threats, including malware, vulnerabilities, and cyber-attack techniques.
- Monitor and analyse threat data from various sources, including open-source intelligence, security vendors, and internal security tools.
- Produce actionable intelligence reports and briefings to inform stakeholders of emerging threats and potential risks to the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal security teams to identify and mitigate security gaps and vulnerabilities.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence processes and procedures.
- Participate in incident response activities as needed, providing expertise on threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Assist in the development and implementation of threat detection and prevention strategies.
- Communicate threat intelligence findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

-Working alongside our testing team to conduct internal purple team exercise to test vulnerabilities 

-Engage with CTI retail working groups to produce high level threat intelligence reports outlining risks 

-Evolving the current maturity of CTI at Sainsburys and conducting regular reviews of the process

-Onboarding new tools into the SOC which follow a ‘fit for purpose’ strategy



Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence or a related role.
- Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack methodologies, and security principles.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, and other security technologies.
- Proficiency in conducting threat assessments and producing intelligence reports.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certifications are a plus.
