Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, security information and event management (SIEM), and data loss prevention (DLP) systems.Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and weaknesses in systems, applications, and infrastructure.Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and logs to detect and respond to security incidents, breaches, and threats in a timely manner.Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational security objectives.Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and clients on cybersecurity best practices, threat intelligence, and incident response procedures.Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and trends to recommend enhancements and improvements to cybersecurity posture and capabilities.Participate in security awareness training, exercises, and drills to educate employees and stakeholders on cybersecurity risks and best practices.Assist with incident response activities, including containment, investigation, analysis, and remediation of security incidents and breaches.Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and third-party service providers to enhance cybersecurity capabilities and address security requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or related field required; CISSP, CEH, or other cybersecurity certifications preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, operations, or related field, with a focus on network security, endpoint security, and security operations.Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and methodologies, including network security protocols, encryption algorithms, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, antivirus/antimalware, and vulnerability scanners.Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security automation, orchestration, and incident response.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and staying current on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
