As the SaaS Security Engineer, you will help secure the SaaS applications and cloud platforms used throughout our business. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include configuration of application security baselines, reviewing deployed applications for security compliance, and automating security tooling ingestion capabilities. You will work closely with the DevOps, IT, Security, and executive leaderships teams to ensure that we maintain the highest security standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, troubleshoot, audit, and document the security settings of authorized SaaS applications and associated integrations in security tools, to include CASB.
  • Develop automated solutions to ingest SaaS security logs into security stack tools.
  • Provide recommendations to Security, IT, Development, and business stakeholders to improve the governance and lifecycle management of approved SaaS applications.

Requirements:

  • Direct Experience with the design and implementation of security controls in SaaS apps such as Office365, Salesforce, Workday, or similar.
  • Understanding of information security technologies and concepts, such as SSO, DLP, NAC, ZTNA, conditional-access, technical security policies, GRC, and vulnerability scanning
  • Direct experience using Cloud-Access Security Brokers (CASB) to secure SaaS apps is required, such as Defender for Cloud Apps.
  • Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Any professional certifications or relevant vendor training courses in security or cloud administration.
  • Proficiency with at least one scripting language
  • Proficiency with of Gitlab or GitHub.
  • Prior experience deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise security tooling, as well as proposing improvements to logging and monitoring capabilities.
