POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate Security Engineer who is excited to jump in and help drive security engineering efforts. You should have a natural sense of curiosity, a propensity for action, and a collaborative and diplomatic approach to problem solving. This position will be based in Mexico ideally hybrid in Mexico City as part of our expanding site location

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Monitor active threads, analyze them and come up with a remediation plan
• Monitor, Audit, Detect and Remediate critical Security exposures in Infrastructure
• Become a recognized security expert in multiple specialty areas
• Respond to all security incidents and manage end-to-end incident response lifecycle
• Help implement security technical and process improvements
• Help implement automation for security tasks such as audit, metrics collection and reporting
• Maintain a strong awareness of events in the external community to identify threats and opportunities for enhancement
• Work cross functionally with engineering teams to architect secure solutions
• Evaluate, test, implement and support third party security tools

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• MS or Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent desired
• 3+ Years of industry experience
• AWS experience is a plus
• Knowledge in any programming language: Python, Go, Bash, etc.
• Threat/Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability Management and Remediation Techniques
• Security orchestration, automation and response experience
• Experience with enterprise access solutions: Okta, OneLogin, ping identity, etc
• Experience with endpoint zero trust and DLP solutions
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred
