Requirements

ALL.SPACE is seeking an experienced Product Manager who will be responsible for turning the unique capabilities offered by ALL.SPACE's breakthrough satellite terminals into AN innovative powerful terminal through the product life cycle for its OS/GUI and cyber security certification to provide addition value add to our unique solution/s.

You will use your expertise of the SATCOM industry to directly influence the product strategy and direction taken with the system OS/GUI and terminal cyber security certification. You know the end user profiles and use cases like the back of your hand. You know the current landscape of service delivery, network architectures, traffic routing, and SLAs. You will take this information and work hand-in-hand with engineering/operations to identify and develop powerful features and services that vastly improve the quality of service and quality of experience of the end users.

The PLM manages the software product management function, they will oversee and overview the specialization, goals, structure, and expectations of the software product. That also includes the planning and monitoring required for producing the ideal software.

You will prioritize feature developments and rollouts and define a product roadmap that gives your product line the highest right to win across each market while balancing development effort and cost. You will assist in systems risk planning with developers, vendors, project managers and higher-level managers, execute vulnerability assessments Evaluate effectiveness of policy and procedures and provide guidance on cybersecurity program requirements. Other responsibilities will be to lead project scoping, planning, and deployment for cybersecurity projects in support of annual operating plan goals. Provide subject matter expertise, advise, and guidance to deliver and support the ALL-Space solutions through efficient management of the cybersecurity infrastructure and the delivery of projects.

You must be a problem solver and you will drive innovation throughout the product development lifecycle. This is not guesswork. You will use your extensive industry experience to analyze opportunities, identify risks, and clearly communicate your product decisions across the organization and directly to the senior leadership team. In your role as product expert, you will also provide technical support to sales, BD, and marketing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with the market research and management teams to work on the discovery phase/s.
  • Collaborate with the product owner to develop a product vision for the new product.
  • Analyze the complete competitive landscape to see what competitors are doing in the market.
  • Figure out the strengths and weaknesses of the competitors and use them in analysis to enhance the ALL Space product/s.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Sales to define new products and enhance existing products and communicate market needs and time requirements.
  • Plan and lead new feature launches with Sales and Marketing
  • Define and validate OS/GUI product requirements with the market through customer and partner meetings.
  • Research and listen to customers and stakeholders and articulate findings in the form of product requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and deliver the OS/GUI & Cyber Security product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short- and long-term releases.
  • Work with management and other key contributors to evaluate and prioritize opportunities and develop effective strategies for all product feature offerings.
  • Develop and own the innovative OS/GUI and Cyber solutions on the product roadmap that leverages ALL.SPACE's unique technology and balances the requirements of a wide range of customers to offer the highest right to win in each segment.
  • Capture detailed market requirements in MRDs.
  • Create and deliver clear and thorough product level requirements to engineering.
  • Evaluate market requirements and the competition to prioritize features and design trades.
  • Drive innovation in all aspects of the design through hands-on analysis
  • Collaborate with the product owner to develop the go-to-market strategy for the product line.
  • Represent All Space at conferences and events.
  • Technical support for sales, BD, and marketing
  • In depth knowledge of the key industry players (operators, service providers, terminal vendors, modem vendors, etc.)
  • Self-driven with excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!

Essential Skills and Experience Needed

  • 10+ years of SATCOM experience with at least 2 years of experience in a product management role
  • 5+ of those years of experience in an Infrastructure and\or Cybersecurity focused technology role.
  • Ability to influence and work with a world-class team of software engineers.
  • Background in computer science, computer graphics and simulation, C++, and GPU programming technologies (CUDA, DirectX, OpenGL), engineering, science, mathematics
  • Experience with both licensed software applications hosted/managed Software as a Service offerings.
  • Experience with various enterprise infrastructure technologies such wireless/wired networking technology, multiprotocol sensor devices (RS232, RS485, GPIO, LAN, etc.) and RF technologies.
  • The ideal candidate has experience with RFID technologies, multi-sensor networking hardware and software, remote monitoring and management methodologies and distributed enterprise software.
  • Comfortable in multi-tasking between business and technical activities
  • 1+ of those years of experience in a leadership role or demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • In depth knowledge of the key industry players (operators, service providers, terminal vendors, modem vendors, etc.)
  • Self-driven with excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field MBA or relevant advanced degree highly desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks and technology: ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, IPSEC, SSL VPNs, firewalls, etc.
