We're searching for a meticulous and dedicated professional to fill the role of Records and Privacy Officer.

 

You will play a pivotal role in supporting the University's records management and privacy functions. You'll provide expert advice, deliver training to staff, maintain archives, and assist with various requests for information. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements, system maintenance, and compliance efforts.

Position Requirements

 

  • High level analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to apply practical solutions to problems and achieve deadlines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge, of University policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge, of the Right to Information Act 2009, Information Privacy Act 2009, Public Records Act 2002, Retention and Disposal of Public Records and other relevant legislation, and the ability to apply this knowledge using contemporary records management practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of electronic records management systems, digital recordkeeping, and compliance processes.
  • High level of oral and written communication skills, including the ability to write a wide range of documentation, with high attention to detail, including information sheets, forms, broadcast emails, intranet pages, and policy updates.
