About the role

We want to hear from you today if you can:

  • Develop, maintain, refresh, and communicate the current state and futures plans of Information Security Program to partners in front, second, and third line.
  • Work with ISO and business leadership this role establishes and drives long-term ISO initiatives aligned to broader business strategy.
  • Be a part of a governance, risk, and controls team and work closely with team members to support policy governance, standards, and controls.
  • Identify, track and report metrics gauging the current performance and maturity of our Information Security program including our managed service provider.
  • Analyze the threat landscape, gap assessments and areas for program improvement and risk reduction, and align the program to business and technology strategies.
  • Collaborate with our managed service provider to develop operational metrics, KPIs, and identify key areas for improvement.

Please note: The job can only be performed in the State locations listed: Houston, TX, Charlotte, NC, Remote-TX, and Remote-NC.

What we are looking for:

  • Significant experience developing, documenting, and communicating information security strategy and roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, measure and report program performance.
  • Anticipates and navigates the organizational dynamics to negotiate, influence, and engage with key stakeholders to drive business success / outcomes through inspirational leadership, skilled in driving change management.
  • 10+ years of increasing responsibility and work complexity to include progressive management roles in large, complex organizations.
  • Strong ability to communicate via written and verbal communication in both formal and casual situations.
  • Proven ability influence, collaborate, and gain support of key cyber security initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability effectively communicate, plan, and collaborate to improve performance of ISO services including managed security service providers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience.
