Security Incident Response and Triage Manager – SAP SuccessFactors

As a Security IR & Triage Manager in SuccessFactors, your job duties will include:

Reporting in to SAP SuccessFactors BISO, work with the Business Information Security Office to identify, classify, and remediate any incidents related to our products and Data Privacy Incidents

Help teams develop, evolve, and understand the Incident Response process

Align with business processes to escalate incidents to management in a timely manner with appropriate information regarding risk, action times, and root cause analysis

Summarize events/incidents effectively to different audiences such as legal counsel, executive management, and technical staff, both in written and verbal forms.

Works with analysts to prioritize and normalize an event to determine if it meets the threshold of a potential incident and declare a major incident, if required, following the documented process

Manage a team of analyst and coordinate response, triage, and escalation of security events

Develop and maintain relationships with SAP and its customers

Create and maintain Incident Response, Security event response playbooks specific to LoB in alignment with central security playbooks.
Required experience and Qualification:
-
Strong knowledge of security incident management, problem management and change management best practices.
-
Proven knowledge of monitoring, detection, incident response and automation to support security operations
-
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts for broad audiences
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
-
Relevant Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP and CompTIA CASP+ or equivalent experience
-
10+ years of consecutive experience in Security Triage and Security Incident Management

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 185,100 - 403,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
